Jessica and Brett | Carlyle House Elopement | Alexandria, Virginia

It was exactly a week after Brian and I had our wedding. Jess got in touch with me on Tuesday to see if I was available that Friday to take photos of their elopement, which they had just started planning. I cannot tell you how exciting this was to me to celebrate my own one week anniversary with someone else's best day! 

These two had it all planned out, from her dress, to his suit. She had her hair and make up done, ordered a bouquet and boutonniere, and even ordered a cake for later that night! Since it was just the three of us, I was able to help Brett pick out his tie, and button up Jessica's dress! It is so special to be able to not only capture their love but support them on such a day! 

From The Alexandrian hotel where they got ready, to the Carlyle Historic House, a gem in Alexandria that I wasn't even aware of, to the fall colors, this was a gorgeous day in all ways. I'm so honored to have been a part of this day! 

There was another elopement down the walkway and one of the sweet guests brought a rose over to Jessica!
