Moving to California has been an adventure to say the least. I've grown up in Virginia, and somehow got away with never moving out of the state. A cross-country move was not what I expected only 4 months into our marriage, and it hasn't been easy. But, I'm excited to be able to explore a new part of the country! I'm even more excited to get to do this with new clients, and friends, like Sohin and Arushi.
These two are expecting their second child in July!! The first baby to steal their hearts, Skye, joined us for the maternity session and did so well posing for the camera. He definitely knew what was happening and decided that he needed to be a part of the fun!
Can I get a pug at every portrait session?
While we were aiming for a golden hour sunset, you can't control a Northern California cloud from rollin' in. I'm not going to lie, I love a great cloudy day portrait session, a bit more than I like direct sunlight...
Half Moon Bay has so much to offer, from the mountains, to green fields, a hike down the cliff to the beach, and bright yellow spring flowers. I'm so glad Sohin and Arushi were looking for a beach maternity session, a perfect way to launch my California photography career!
I can't wait to meet their baby girl in July, and keep exploring this picture perfect coast!
